Privacy Policy
How Passiv processes onchain behavioral data, what is and isn't shared, and the controls you hold over your wallet's profile.
Draft — pending legal review. This is a working scaffold, not final legal text or advice. The network is currently in preview on synthetic data; this policy governs the live service once real wallet data is processed.
1. What we process
Passiv reads public Base blockchain activity associated with a wallet you connect, and derives a coarse, bucketed behavioral profile (e.g. trader type, risk band, volume band, protocol presence, activity rhythm). We do not collect off-chain personal data beyond what you submit (e.g. a support message).
2. How cohorts protect you
- Cohort-level only. Buyers receive aggregates over groups of ≥ 50 wallets — never an individual.
- No identities. Wallet addresses, transaction hashes, and raw amounts are never returned to buyers. Profiles carry random identifiers only.
- k-anonymity (k ≥ 50). Cohorts below the floor are suppressed and not sold.
3. Your controls
From the dashboard you choose which behavioral categories are shared and can disconnect at any time. On the live network these controls govern whether your wallet contributes to a cohort and which dimensions are included.
4. Data sharing & sale
Cohort-level signal is sold to API consumers (e.g. AI agents) who pay per query in USDC. We do not sell identities. Buyers are subject to terms prohibiting re-identification and downstream resale (see Terms).
5. Retention, deletion & your rights
On the live network you will be able to request removal from cohort participation and deletion of derived profile data; today the network runs on synthetic data and no real wallet profiles are stored. Depending on your jurisdiction you may have rights to access, correct, object to, or restrict processing. Contact us to exercise them.
